What's the issue? If you don't like Robert and I posting music...then don't click the link. We do this all the time so why do you think anyone is sending you songs? I'm sorry to say this, but you don't cross my mind in my daily life unless someone mentions your name. Don't take offense, but I'm too busy to worry about whose feelings are getting hurt because they misinterpret something they read and know nothing about. You have my number so why do you write this on this board instead of call me? This is exactly the kind of chatter we don't want pet owners to read.
I asked you not to post info that is not wanted here and you should respect that as that is not only my wishes but everyone else's wish here. Just because people own American Bulldogs or live in Texas doesn't mean everyone else has to hang out with them or post with them. This is a PRIVATE message board NOT PUBLIC. We allow others to read and don't talk crap about others here. I'm not coming after you...if I was, you would know it so let's remain gentlemen here please. I will not allow those who corrupt others to post here. That's been voted on by majority and will not change unless voted otherwise.
I've never poked fun at your dogs, but some who you know do. I've never poked fun at you behind your back but some who you know do. I really wish those people who don't like me or my friends to go away and not read this venue. I don't read other boards. It's not that hard. All one has to do is overcome their addiction to Board Chasing.

If this venue is so insignificant...then why all the crying?

If you want you password removed just email the message board email at texasabclub@yahoo.com and one of the moderators will oblige you. No one is asking you to go away. Just remember...not all of us like one another and should stay away from one another or the message boards we frequent.
That was from my person...now as a Moderator...please don't take a personal issue with me or anyone else here again. Do it like a gentleman should...in person to respect those that don't want to read this.

I had more than usual calls within the last week about who can post here and why, so I thought I would clear it up for everyone. When we set this message board in place it was generally intended to be a local communication hiway but not limited to local only as you can see...there are good people who aren't local or even in Texas who post here and many more who have passwords but rarely post. Anyone can get a password and post here as long as they don't threaten anyone else with violence on the board or continues to badger others without merit. Anyone known to abuse their dogs won't be allowed to post.
This message board is intended for good people to post most anything they want about their dogs, family, interest or events as long as it is done with good ethics. There are dozens of other AB message boards that allow the "Anything Goes" method and (we) agreed originally to provide something different for a different crowd...mostly pet owners and known Breeders who mind good manners and do right by their dogs and customers and we, (the board moderators) have agreed to stay that course.
As I know, no one here makes a living selling dogs and raises them for guard protection, sport activities, a few hunt with them, show or family companionship. Houston alone has a lot of families who own 1 or 2 ABs and like to learn more about the breed and read here, though don't post often or at all. Some of us regularly get calls or emails by pet owners asking questions though it's not posted here, but the contact originated from this message board.
This is a hobby for most of us (ONLY). No one in this breed can do much for the breed as there are too many people owning American Bulldogs to try to control. All one can do is take care of their dogs and be helpful to those who need help that don't know what to do with their pets when there is an issue of emergency. That's what this is for...To Help Others and enjoy conversation and pictures.
Password Protection is in place for a reason. If anyone needs to trash talk for no apparent reason, surely someone can point them to a venue that will allow that. Personally, I don't have time for anything but taking care of my dogs and hanging with a few friends who own ABs and don't have time to monitor unrully adults.
We currently have 4 moderators and we discuss any action we take with at least 1 other moderator before taking action. Removing a password involves all 4 of us. Passwords can be re-instated if someone promises to obey the rules.
I enjoy reading about everyone's dogs and activities...so happy posting.
