I have been doing a lot of research trying to collect information for my VA claim. One of the sites I went to was the Naval Historical Center Site (official history of the US Navy)/ Riverine Warfare - The U.S. Navy's Operations on Inland Waters (http://www.history.navy.mil/library/online/riverine.htm). Unless my eyes are worse than I think, I did not find any information about the mining of the Westchester County.
Is there something we can do to have that chapter added to the history?
