I don't recall ever being "seasick" aboard the WESCO, except for a little queasiness when painting in a confined space, below decks like a ladder well maybe. I do remember Marines getting "seasick," especially in the chow line. Remember they used to come down the starboard ladder from the main deck, past the steam line. The last Sailor through the line would make a remark to the Sailor ahead about the chow like: "Did you see that cockroach in the beans, etc." And the Marines behind would leave their trays, file past the steam line, up the port ladder and man the rail pucking their guts out. What fun! WESCO '58-'61.
