Hi Tim
I haven't had a thing come up on any of the yuccas or even hesperaloe yet. We seem to be a few weeks behind on nearly everything this year. Even hibiscus started sprouting only a week or so ago. We were finally looking ok after a really long winter but had a late freeze the first week of May(we've had it all this month: 31f-92f).
On a brighter note, I had one heck of a find the other day(@ wally world of all places) amongst the cordylines etc. A bunch of labeled yucca 'Margaritas', I'm 99.99% certain that they're recurv 'Margaritavilles'. Although, Fantastic Plants lists theirs as simply margarita, either way I'm quite certain its a variegated form of recurvifolia and will be hardy here. I like to look around everywhere we go because you just never know what you'll come across.
Alan
