Hey Paul,
It might sound odd but your semps look nice. We can't really grow them very well here (SE NC) because of heat and humidity. Have you tried Orostachys? A really nice looking fleshy succulent in summer that looks like a semp in winter. Very hardy here and originates from Japan and Korea I think.
