It handles our 'heat' here in Southern ontario easily, but, I don't know how it would handle southeastern USA heat!
I use Jovibarba the same way I use sempervivum, it's a way to keep the weeds down in the cactus garden... They grow anywhere, as long as there is direct sunlight for a few hours a day!
