Jim, Maybe the lack of heat this spring is really slowing the growth on that recurv? If the spear isn't pulling I don't see how the plant could be dead. And, it looks like it's sending up suckers from the roots, so maybe it is focusing growth on these??? Also, that alofolia hybrid is an AMAZING looking plant! Let me know if you ever get blooms on it as I'd love to use it to hybridize. Cheers.
