Yes they are very nice, but unfortunately shy bloomers, and they grow very slow in the first 7 years or so.
My hybrids with Yucca glauca grows about 2-3 times faster, and I have seen the first flowering plant this year, this only 5 years from seeds. I hope to be able to grow a more "glauca - look - alike" from the F2 seedlings, which also grow faster, and may bloom at an early age.
Yes, you are right all those Yuccas with narrow leaves and fibers look very similar indeed.
