Don ...24 years ago the temp dropped to 25* below zero here. Their are stands here of these yuccas older than that , not many but they are here. My Grandmothers stand has been there since the early 1960's.
They die here when they grow tall and tumble over and break and this is caused by horrific storms and old age.
