here in Germany the last winter was rather cold. We have a lot of different Y. recurvifolia cultivars of unknown origin here. In my garden the Yuccas take 1F° without any damage. In other parts of Germany it was much colder and the Yuccas died when the temps were lower than -4F°. Most of them recovers from rhizomes. For our cold and wet climate Y. recurvifolia is the best Yucca of all. Unfortunetely pollination of this Yucca to get seed pods is unpossible. Here is a nice plant wiht rigid leaves
