Have a lot of fruit this year on the purple or maroon aloifolia. If you folks want to try to grow them from seed I'd be glad to provide some gratis. Pups hold the color. Would be interesting to see if seed grown yuccas do. Cold hardiness appears to be the same as normally colored aloifolia but it's hard to be sure here in 8a. Maroon color holds from mid november until around June when it has faded away to the normal green.
