Yucca australis (filifera) Description: Native to Coahuila Mexico. Growing into trees 6 to 15 meters high, grotesquely branched similarly to the smaller Joshua trees. The trunk is 1.5 to 3 thick. The dagger-like stiff, green leaves in rosettes at ends of branches, to 45cm long and 5cm across, rigidly sharp-pointed, and margins coarsely threaded; creamy-white flowers in pendant clusters.
