Tim that Elata is awesome and too think its seed grown. They are slow but in time they grow beautifully. Mine has never bloomed and has almost 5 feet of wood. It was a 5g (non-trunking) about 11 years or so in the ground. I wonder if this is good growth for Elata? A few years ago I tried clipping the frond skirt and its was a real chore, Im glad I gave up. They look great as they should, skirted! |
