Everything I have researched points to simply cutting the trunk, let it callous in the shade for a few days - week, plant it, water very infrequently so as not to induce rot and in a couple of months, new growth will appear. Does the rooted stump produce a sprout, how long afterwards. I've also read that a trunk of a very tall yucca can be cut into multiple pieces, allowed to callous and when planted in the correct orientation will produce a plant. Is it really that easy? What is the survival rate? Thanks in advance |

Is it as easy to root stem cuttings from trunk forming as I've been reading - Cosmo June 8, 2015, 8:53 pm
