Yucca seeds dealer

Hi, I'm looking for yucca seed dealers in the US for ordering seeds of hardy Yucca which can be planted outside even here in Germany (zone 7b). I know Mesagarden, Alplaines and Cactus Store but I hope there are some more in the US. I'm searching especially seeds of Yucca linearifolia and Yucca hybrids (natural or man made) Maybe you can give me some advice? Regards Eckhard

Hi Tim, nice to hear from you. Unfortunately I do not have so many of your hybrids. I once had, but during summer holiday my neighbor who took care of my plants forgot to water them and two weeks without water and lots of sun killed more than 80 seedlings. Actually I have the following plants in my garden: Y. filata "Big mama", Y. filamentosa 'Tenn' x (Y. reverchonii x thompsoniana), Y. flaccida x (reverchonii x thompsoniana) and Y. flaccida „Tennessee“ x (filamentosa x rostrata) But how can I return the favor ? Regards Eckhard

Those first few hybrids are 2009? crosses. I will load you up with more seed. No return favor needed. I enjoy Yuccas very much and try to help anyone who enjoys Yuccas.

Hi Tim, You're right, I enjoy Yuccas, to be honest, I'm addicted to Yuccas. My wife always tells me I'm crazy. But its always great to see the differences between all the plants. The only difficulty is to grow trunk forming Yuccas in my area (wet and cold winters). But a few hybrids seem to solve the problem. Actually I have a filamentosa x rostrata (TB) which starts to trunk after blooming this year. As well your "Big Mama" and an elata "White sands" are on their way and grow fast. I'm already excited to receive your seeds and to see them germinating and growing. Normally I should live somewhere in the US Thank you very much Eckhard

2 envelopes are on their way. I hope you get many good plants, I enjoy hybrids so much since each plant is different.

Hi Tim, today your two envelopes arrived. Many thanks for all these seeds. I was really impressed. It should be easier to send plants from the US to Germany. Actually we think about a big order at PDN (especially Y. linearifolia 'Line Dance'9 but the price will be more than three times the price as in the US due to needed documents. We should be able to only order tubers.... Regards Eckhard

I'm glad the seeds arrived so fast. I sent you two packs of gloriosa 'Tennessee' X 'fila x rostrata' since they are producing great plants with lots of rostrata traits. Jim Kelly sent me a photo of his gloriosa 'Tennessee' X 'fila x rostrata'. Looks great so far.

Hi Tim, that looks awesome. I will keep them until March and then I will start to saw them. I'll keep you updated about their germination rates and their growth. I'm so happy, whenever you have to many seeds to be sawn by yourself you can think of me I'll let you know when they arrived. Again, I have to say thank you Tim. Regards Eckhard
