We finally decided to update the siding and roof on our house in Weston, but the process has been exhausting. Every contractor we speak with offers a completely different explanation of what needs to be done. One claims the roof is in emergency condition, another says it’s totally fine but the siding is failing, and a third recommends redoing everything at once. Since we’ve never done a major renovation, it’s hard to know who’s giving real advice and who’s trying to upsell.
