Sorry I havn't sent out an update for a while. Not too much to report, but his next set of CTs are coming up on the 19th and 20th here in FS at our hospital, so be praying about that please. We will be back in San Antonio on 5/23 to see the study Dr. to requalify him for the trial to keep taking the meds which at least up to now have kept the disease stable. His last two visits went well and they have given him a new medicine to control some of the intestinal side effects and it is working. Today was his third day of the meds since starting them on Fri. there at the treatment/research center in San Antonio and he really felt well and did a lot of stuff in the yard, etc.
He had a cold recently and it took him a while to get over it, but eventually did. His weight and blood work are good, although they have started him on some mineral supplements and given him some IV phosphorous that seem to get depleted due to the chemo meds.
Overall, things are OK.
Susie is due in two weeks!!! We are SO excited!!!!
All the best to everyone,
