I have a bad tummy & the nurse didn't want me to sit in poop all day. He keeps telling me that I need to use that stand up machine again & I said but that isn't helping my core or fixing my posture, also that I might see a chiro to help me with that - that's what I'm going to concentrate on when I go home. Then he kind of threatened, that insurance companies cut off funds if you don't improve! I told him I have private insurance so that's taken care of, plus I'm being paid for my time off. I reminded him for the millionth time that I was mobile before I fell, have a walker, crutches, little wheelchair, I take my trash out for pickup, get my mail from the mailbox, get deliveries in the front door. I told him one of th e admins had a chat with me yesterday & we talked about the core & posture thing, and that's something I can do at home.It finally sunk in that I'm not going to be here much longer, & he agreed that I can just do the recumbent bike tomorrow and Friday. What a pita! I think they get paid or commission for each patient.
