During his sermon last Sunday our Preacher injected condifence in the framework of his sermon and told what I thought to be a humorous story.
Two men were marooned on a small island as the result of a shipwreck. One was constantly pacing and watching for any signs of rescue. The other was very passively resting under a palm tree, seemly enjoying the peace and quiet. The first ask the second this question, “ do you have any concern that we will never be found?” The second one replied, “ I recently got elevated to a position in my company where my annual income is in excess of 500K. Since I am a tither in my Church, I have no concern because my Pastor will find me.”
