Talked to Nancy yesterday and today. He is feeling better, but has some trouble with his memory probably due to the concussion. He gave Bubba his truck yesterday which, as we who deal with elderly parents and giving up driving, was wonderful. He and I had a conversation about it when he was in the hospital. They went to their primary physician today and they think the hernia that he has had for years might be bothering him but don't recommend surgery. He said as long as he know why he has the pain he can deal with it. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns for him and Nancy. They are so very special to me, and I know to all of you. They have several doctor appointments next week and I know Pam is coming some time soon to stay a week to help Nancy. Oh, and please pray for Bubba as he begins his new job as District Attorney for Rankin and Madison Counties. I am so proud that Nancy and Kenneth can witness this adventure for him and I am proud that the little boy who went everywhere with me is now such an outstanding young man. I will try to keep you posted, as I know Betty will. Happy New Year to you all.
