Glenda Sessions Brown, our “Picture Lady,” has been hard at work for several years saving and organizing the photos that have been posted on our FHS Reminiscing Site. What we are trying to do is 1. Create something that is a lot like a regular hard copy photo album. For viewing only. 2. Keep our photos in more than one place so there is a back up. Glenda has worked hard over the years trying to archive our many photos. Thank you Glenda Sessions Brown ‘66.
Please keep in mind that we have a LOT of pix and they will not go online all at one time. It takes a lot of work. We are in beginning stages now, and it is a work in progress.
We are trying to be very mindful of privacy. For this reason, we strongly ask that the photos not be downloaded, screenshot, or posted on other sites. At this time, we are trying to keep it close to the readers of FHS Site and not expose our friends to the whole wide world on FB. Any comments/questions regarding the photos, can be made right here on our message board instead of on the FB photo album page.
It’s a work in progress. It could evolve and change as we go forward. We wanted to have some idea of what you thought about this. Stay tuned and we will give further information. You do have to be a member of Facebook to access the albums. It will be helpful to know how many of our readers are NOT Facebook users and do not intend to be. Please say so in reply to this note.
