As May has now turned into June and the COVID 19 virus remains with us and appears will be with us for time to come, I want to personally support the decision made by Kaye and Kelly to cancel the Coke and Nabs Party for this summer. I know this decision was not made without much thought and concern for the well being of all involved and while it may be a disappointment to all of us, it is definitely the right decision. Forest and Scott County continues to fight the virus and I am sure that all of you are aware that for some time, we were considered one of the "hot spots" in the state. Personal responsibility is the key to making our community safe again and I appreciate the decision made by Kaye and Kelly. Let's use the Bearcat message board to stay in touch this summer and look forward to being together again in the year 2021. "Bless be the tie that binds".
