Re: What! Another 2020 event!
Yes, Glenda. The moon was so pretty last night. The Halloween “blue moon” is one GOOD thing 2020 has brought us. ( I see my photo in the header is down for some reason. The ibb ghosts are playing with me again! It seems to go and come.) Anyway....I saw an article about the “last Blue Moon on Halloween” being in 1944. Then I saw another article stating it happens every 19 years. I am no math wizard, but I knew that didn’t match up. Looked for yet another article which explained it. 2020 is the first time since 1944 that a Halloween Blue Moon will occur in ALL time zones across the US. Blue Moons do not last all night long. Only a few minutes. Therefore they occur in one or two time zones every 19 years...but much less often in all time zones. Just a bit of trivia that’s kind of interesting right now but I’ll forget it by this time tomorrow....lol Happy Halloween Everyone....and step outside to see this beautiful Halloween Blue Moon.
