Re: Covid Changes
Tony...you were on almost exact schedule as Kel and I were. We were about two days late (30 instead of recommended 28 for Moderna) due to some scheduling issues but felt soooo fortunate to have been able to keep that second dose appt. Due to the THREE back to back intense winter storms in our area, all local vaccination sites had to close. There has been a tangled backlog of appts and re scheduling taking place for over two weeks. If we had not been able to get that second shot at last minute on Feb 12, I’m afraid we still would not have it. Actually TODAY is the day our cancelled appt was rescheduled to. This afternoon. We would have been right on the outside limit of the important six week mark from first shot. Not sure what that would have meant but our internists are saying they would recommend an antibody test at some point before assuming any immunity. For sure that’s a developing story for some. I prefer to follow the known data from professionals I trust. Glad you have your vax completed because you have a young man around that is keeping you busy. You don’t have time to get sick!
