It is with a heavy heart that I share this information about my first cousin. June Smith Harvey passed away yesterday. I’m thinking she graduated FHS in 1952. She was Miss FHS who later married her high school sweetheart, Bob Harvey, a star football player at FHS. Their two loving daughters,Lynn and Lori, are also FHS grads.
Many of you will remember her brother and sisters….Dalton Smith, Bobby Smith Rester, and Betty Smith. All were FHS grads. Their father and Glinda’s and my father were brothers.
In recent years, due to failing health, June and Bob had moved to TN to live near daughter Lynn. Bob had passed away several months ago. There will be a joint service in Forest for Bob and June at some point….but no details yet.
