I’ve been about to burst trying to keep this secret….but I did it!!
Today, Sunday, July 28 at 1:00 pm, two FHS classmates were married. Janice Alford Burt and Douglas Courtney. Most of you know that they each suffered the tragic loss of their spouses many years ago. Doug and Janice remained in the Forest area all those years but their paths did not cross very often….BUT….
About nine years ago this July, Doug and Janice had their first “real date” with each other during a Nabs n Coke Party weekend. Shortly after that, they begin to work together to start a reunion for the Class of ‘62 every October. We all saw how well they worked together but it took a few more years for THEM to see it.
We could not be any happier and wish these two Bearcats many happy years to come!
