Charles Gould, 80, a retired maintenance supervisor for MS Dept of Transportation, died Monday, April 6, 2025, at MS Baptist Medical Center-Leake.
Visitation is 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Travis Watkins and Bro. David Rives officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gould was a native of Newton County. He served as a church elder at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also a Mason and a Gideon. Mr. Gould served as a SSGT in the MS Army National Guard.
Survivors include his daughter, Sondra Gould Spell (Steve) of Walnut Grove and 1 grandson, Jon Spell.
Pallbearers are Andrew Grayson, Mike Madden, Jamie Sistrunk, Ned Sistrunk, Steve Burton, and Noah Roberson.
