Randy Harvey Obituary
Randy Lee Harvey passed away peacefully at home in Bluffton, South Carolina, surrounded by family on October 5, 2025.
Born and raised in Forest, Mississippi, Randy went on to play basketball for Ole Miss before moving to Atlanta, where he met the love of his life, Debbie. They were married for 55 wonderful years.
After a long and successful career with Waffle House corporate, Randy and Debbie opened Stacks Pancakes on Hilton Head Island, where they created a welcoming home for locals and visitors alike. Over more than 20 years, they employed hundreds and fed thousands, leaving an indelible mark on the community.
Randy's greatest joy in life was his girls - his wife Debbie and daughters Kimberli and Stephanie. His kindness, strength, humor, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed.
His light continues to shine through his family: his beloved girls, sons-in-law Michael and Matt, grandchildren Jacob, Emory, and Miles, and great-granddaughter Sophia; along with his sisters Valoree and Vickie, sisters-in-law Beverly and Nancy, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deep Well Project (www.deepwellproject.org/donate) or American Stroke Association (stroke.org).
