In addition to the induction of its Class of 2026 nominees, recognizing former athletes and coaches, this ceremony will also include recognition of people who contributed to the sports community and a local team who achieved its special place in history.
The ceremony is set for 5 p.m. on April 25 at the Livingston Performing Arts Center at Roosevelt State Park in Morton. The Class of 2026 will include 14 honorees bringing the total membership to 133 since the organization was founded in 2014. Scott Engle, a football coaching staff member and team chaplain for East Central Community College, will serve as the keynote speaker.
Tickets will become available on April 1 and are $10 per person. Forest ticket locations will include Community Bank and Bank of Forest. The Morton ticket location is Bank of Commerce and tickets are available in Lake at the Scott County Broadcasting Network office on Highway 80. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
The primary focus will be on the Class of 2026 including, pictured from top left above, Luke Reynolds, Gina Skelton, and Don (Pete) Stokes of Forest; Roxana Rogers-Sullivan and Brian Goodman, Lake; Billy Frank Alford, David Hollingsworth, and Don Pennington, all of Morton; Will Boswell, representing Scott Central; and Katie Phillips, representing Sebastopol.
