Prayers for Stanley & Angie Harrell’s Family

Stanley & Angie’s son, Brock Harrell, was involved in a motorcycle accident this past Thursday. I copied Angie’s post from Facebook and asked for her permission to post on this site. Please pray for them as recovery is going to be a long process.

Thank you Steve Clark, Diann Harrell Sharp and Tammy for asking for prayers for Brock!! I haven't been on FB lately and seeing all the prayers this morning warmed my heart .❤️
Brock had just left work on his motorcycle Thursday and was on hwy 18. He was in the left lane when a truck in the right lane suddenly pulled in front of him to cross the medium. Brock said it was like slow motion when he and his bike slammed into the truck. He was taken by ambulance to UMC and is now in SICU. As of right now (it keeps changing) he's scheduled for surgery Monday morning to repair his crushed pelvis. He's pretty broken up inside. He's in a lot of pain and has a long recovery ahead. But he still has his sense of humor and bones will heal! God was watching out for him, it could have been so much worse!

Steve said they put a plate and screws in his hip today, will worry about his leg and ankle later.

Stanley’s sister, Diann Sharp, just posted this;

He went through a long surgery today to repair his pelvis !! He is back in icu now !! Dr said it went good !!long road to recovery pray it’s a easy one!!

Angie and I would like to thank you all for the prayers for our son Brock.Today he was moved from the trauma ward to Methodist Rehab.He is improving every day.We still have a long way to go.The Lord does answer prayers.

Hi Dana,
Brock received the sweetest card yesterday!!

That was very sweet of you and meant a lot to him and to Stanley and I. It really does cheer him up to hear success stories from others who have been at Methodist. He has a great team working with him. There's no doubt he's in the right place. Everyone is so nice and there are smiles everywhere!

I am so glad to hear Brock is making progress and getting out of the hospital. Prayers continue for complete recovery.

MMRC and will be undergoing Outpatient Rehab.

LATEST UPDATE ON BROCK:

Betty he has started outpatient rehab but we had to put that on hold today because he’s developed blood clots in both legs. Just another hurdle to get over. Prayers needed that this new medication works quick to dissolve the clots!

Brock is being re-admitted to UMMC because of all the blood clots developing in his hips and legs. Medication isn’t working so we are waiting to see what’s next. Prayer warriors needed again!

So sorry to hear this. At least they can keep a very close eye on him back in the hospital. Angie and Scooter, we are praying for speedy resolution to this problem so Brock can get back on the road to recovery.

Brock developed clots in lungs and legs. He will not have surgery as it would be to dangerous. He was released to come homeTuesday afternoon on medication hoping him body can break the clots up. He is resting well and we are monitoring him closely. Thanks for all the prayers we really appreciate y’all. Merry Christmas to all. Stanley . Angie and family.

I forgot to mention that he is on out patient rehab and did take a few steps yesterday. Hoping that doesn’t dislodge the clots.

Lord, we lift Brock up to you today. Father we are all praying in agreement that Brock will be healed and the blood clots will dissolve. Lord you say for believers to ask in your name and we do ask this in your precious name,The name above all names, the great Healer, Jesus! Amen
