Congratulations to the FHS Marching Band

I would like to share with you a FB post from Mark Davis, the FHS band director. The band competed in the West Lauderdale Marching Invitational today and this is what he posted:

Proud of our "Pride of Forest" band students. Today at the West Lauderdale Marching Festival, the band received All Superior ratings. The band also received Superior ratings in the categories of Percussion, Color Guard, and Drum Major. The Color Guard also won Best in Class. Congratulations to our students on a great effort today.

Great job, Mark Davis, Kevin Bishop, and the members of the FHS Band!

I totally agree, Kay. I think Mr. Davis and Mr. Bishop work well together and provide the perfect leadership for a group of hard working students. Best wishes to them as they prepare for state marching evaluations in a couple of weeks!

I saw them perform Friday night at the Bearcat game and they were OUTSTANDING!!!
