Thank you for birthday wishes! This will be my sweet joy. I ordered Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce from pastry chef Nettie at Forest Country Club's Happiness Cafe. I will give taste report tomorrow. My new plan is to try all of her desserts... one per week!

The caramel sauce must have been made in an iron skillet with sugar and butter. Perfection!

Mother made caramel sauce in an iron skillet. So good. Then I tried to make it. Once. It turned out so badly that I still remember chipping that rock hard molten mess from my skillet for DAYS!
Sounds like Roving Reporter gives high ratings to Nettie’s Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce!

Sounds like a wonderful plan! Be sure to describe the bread pudding. That’s one of my favorite things. And I’m always looking for new recipes/ideas.
