Another one gone

I just received this message from Sandra Wade Freeman, Johnny's sister-in-law, Kenny's wife:
It is with sadness we share with family and friends the death of our brother John (Johnny) Freeman, Jr. John passed on June 18th in his home in Pensacola, FL. After graduation from Mississippi State in 1966 John worked as a Navy auditor until his retirement. He loved his family, his dogs, golf. He will be missed.

Never had the pleasure of meeting Johnny but if he was anything like his brothers Kenny and Gary he was a stand up guy. Condolences and prayers to the family. It’s always sad when the passing of another Bearcat is posted.

Sorry to learn of Johnnys passing. I always remember the copious amounts of his integrity. A Stand up guy. Prayers for his family.

Wish we could have had a chance to see more of Johnny over the years. I agree, Bo, that he was a solid member of ‘62, and one that I always found kind and genuine. Condolences to his family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear it. Johnny truly was as nice a person as I've ever met. Condolences to his family.

I agree with all these statements! A true Southern gentleman! We were blessed to have him as a classmate as we grew up in Forest School.
