Becky, the header photo reminded me of seeing the flags at the cemeteries when we were growing up.

Steve…. Do you remember ever helping put flags out at the cemetery? I can’t remember exactly who it was that would get a group of kids to help do that….but I think it was Shot’s mother, Jean Eady, for one.

Kaye, I believe it was the American Legion and Ladies Aux. Sarg Wilkerson may have been involved. Believe the AL knew which headstones were service members.

Norm….i think you’re right! I think Jean Eady was an active member of that until she died. She was always doing something like that and probably got a group of us to help. Shot and Mike Russell were in the group I remember. Thx.

I didn’t help with that, I would certainly helped if I’d have known about it and would most likely even asked if I could help. All those that died in the defense of this country should hold a special place in every Americans heart.
