Brent, thanks for starting the discussion. What is clear from reviewing the finances of the club, is that the current cost of printing the newsletter, with the printer that does the color printing, is too expensive, it costs more than the dues we get, and the club has other costs other than the newsletter, so our finances are being greatly reduced. Email is one alternative. Another alternative is to go back to the cheaper, simpler, black and white copied newsletter - you lose the color photo's and the printing is a little bit less fancy, although not much because the pages would still be produced in pdf form, then copied on high volume copier, sent as a 16 page newsletter, double sided, with the auction included. Question: would you rather get newsletter printed as black and white copied, or emailed with color photos? Is there any virtue in doing both, which gets you the color photos but only electronic? Thanks.
