The PGCA meeting was a good success in PA, on Friday, Sept 28 - we had 11 memberships represented, with about 18 or so people, and a couple others expected to check in with the members who are setup at the Flea Mkts this weeekend in Kutztown, PA. At the official meeting we discussed the club newsletter, club glasses in the future, working to get people to participate, and other issues. Lots of show and tell, including some very nice items, unusual sets and variations, and some regional glasses not usually seen. Lots of glasses for sale, from $1.00 to $150 type glasses, several members brought some very nice and tough glasses like old 1939 Wizard of Oz, wavy bottom old Disney, Merrie Melodies, Derby, lots of Welch's glasses, Coke and Pepsi, new 'Toon tumblers sets and singles.
It was good to have a good turnout, was a good meeting. I sold a lot of glasses, and bought some more for my collection. Thanks to Carl and Mary Sehnert for setting it up.
