I use 1500 grit silicon Carbide with copper pieces, along with water, tumbled until very hazy, then Aluminum Oxide All Purpose Polish, turned till haze is removed. Sometimes I have to do it twice to achieve the results I want. I purchase this from JarDoctor@aol.com . it takes time, but bottle collectors do this all time to clean dug bottles. I only use it for scratches and removing haze on the inside. I have saved several good glasses that otherwise would have limited value. Hope this helps.
