While most grocery stores recycle corrugated boxes by crushing and binding, liquor stores, for the most part, do not. Here in NC most of the ABC stores are happy to give them away. And yes, as Bob Simon mentioned, with very little effort they can be cut to size. In fact, I travel with one in my car trunk just in case I come across another "find". It sure cuts down on a lot of excess packaging and it keeps the glasses safe.
