I think it'll be decided before the draft. (Still months away, and even if the Packers agreed on a deal last month, they can't officially do it until March and there is no reason to make it public until it's official). So months no matter what...


Of course, I'm assuming that the Packers will trade the contract first and THEN the Jets will pick up the option on the contract and the options money will go on the Jets cap and not the Packers.

Just people aren't used to trades before an option... as usual the team would simply decline the option if said players wasn't staying.
