Yeah, I saw last week that by exercising that team option to convert salary to bonus or vice versa or some other accounting vooodoo on about five players (Jones, Bak, and a half dozen others were mentioned as candidates) the Packers create that 16 million in cap space as well as money for the draft choices. This is a team option and the players don’t really have a say in it happen8ng or not. Now all that accounting cap magic gets them to the same team that under performed this year. To bring in ANYTHING in terms of a free agent I’m guessing they have to do something with Rodgers as outlined by Ry above.
