Bucky has a point though. When Aaron was injured and he was missing throws to his receivers, didn’t it seem odd that Love as the backup was not put in the game?

That the Packer coaches apparently felt that he wasn’t as good as an injured Aaron? Wonky thumb, and all. As others have stated those coaches see him daily in practice and know his current ability yet deferred on giving him the ball.

On the other hand, Bucky, Aaron couldn’t pull out a win in those four games —- questionable if Love could either. Yoop points to the weakness of the OL and WRs that derailed the offense. Even so I would have welcomed him relieving Aaron. Keeping Aaron from further injury and giving us a bigger glimpse of his capabilities.

Like others here I’m hopeful for Love when his time comes.
