For me there are two blue chip players: AL EDGE Will Anderson and GA IDL Jalen Carter. That's it. The next closest guy is probably IL CB Devon Witherspoon (I'm higher on him than most).
The quarterbacks in this class are all okay, but I don't think the NFL is going to be stumbling over itself to trade up to #1. The Bears will trade out of that pick, but I'm not sure they're going to get a king's ransom.
People point to the EDGE class but I'm unimpressed. Clemson's Myles Murphy, Texas Tech's Tyree Wilson, and Iowa's Lukas Van Ness are probably going top 20 but they're all potential without a lot of production. There's various reasons for each, but none are can't-miss prospects.
The corners are all messy for a variety of reasons. I'm not sure there's a single WR1 in this class. And while there's some interesting OT prospects, I don't think you grab one in the top 20 and think you landed a cornerstone.
I think once you get past the top four picks in this draft, the value between 5 and 20 really isn't that different.
If the Packers get an additional top 15 pick in a Rodgers trade, I'd actually hope they can trade back and get more swings.
