You are overlooking how everything has seemingly doubled in the last one - two years time. Food gas labor and more. Lambeau roof would be crazy price now.

Miller Park had vast cost overruns because the roof didn’t close correctly and leaked all over. The manufacturer absorbed most of the cost the re-engineering. But still.

And three guys died building it. A roof on Lambeau or another stadium hopefully wouldn’t repeat that mess.

The first estimate was way below the final price. Need to make similar assumptions about these big “public” projects. That being it will cost way more than the ballyhooed initial estimate.
