I don't think either side has leverage over the other here, it's just whom gets impatient and blinks first.


Because if either side backs out, then both are screwed.

Jets are probably in slightly better position, as they'll still be able to sign a different QB (say Matt Ryan or Andy Dalton) and leave a pissed off Rodgers with huge guarantee money with us, though yes that's pretty bad for them, it'd be even worse for us paying two QBs huge money and both upset.


But all about whom give in first.
