Aaron Rodgers says he's been concerned about his future with the Green Bay Packers since they drafted Jordan Love in 2020, but his two MVP seasons extended his time in Green Bay. Rodgers thought his meetings with Packers GM Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFluer went well in January the week after the season ending loss to the Lions, but something changed with the team in February after his darkness retreat. Rodgers says he did not insist the New York Jets sign former Packers like Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, or Marcedes Lewis, but merely recommended them out of a long list of NFL players. The 39-year old quarterback says he will play for the Jets, but currently is still under contract with the Packers as the two teams continue to negotiate the terms of his trade to New York. Rodgers emphasized his love for the Packers staff after 18 years and how he'll miss the fans and Green Bay.
