For stuff for appearance is a booming business if run right, and if you have the customers with the extra cash to afford it, can be a huge money making potential.

Also unfortunately there seems to be a ton of peer pressure with girls that they have to keep up with something, weather it's hair, nails or something else. I don't have kids, but where I used to work used to have a lot of young secretaries, whom always felt the need for getting their nails done every two weeks it seemed as well as had to get something from Starbucks daily. It was social pressure BS thing.
