1. Gute allows Rodgers to talk to the Jets. Everything goes well.
2. Gute comes out and gives a sweet packers side of the story.
3. Rodgers can't help himself so he has to go public and give his side of the story, flat out admitting he wants to go play for the Jets.
4. Everyone knows the Jets want Rodgers and the Rodgers wants the Jets.
Thus, pressure is on New York to get the deal done.
Now do I think the Packers have this supreme leverage that some are saying? No. They have more leverage than the Jets, but no they're not slam dunk better.
But ultimately, the Pressure is on New York to get something done.
