It’s been rumored the packers and jets are far off on compensation. We can also assume this to be correct due to the offer still not being accepted/done.

Clearly the jets don’t want to send packers a 1st rounder.
If they’re far off. It can’t be a second rounder or that wouldn’t be far off and they each woulda been able to compromise by now.

It’s clearly a third round offer by the jets. Possibly they’re offering a 2nd for 2025. Possibly. But it definitely feels like a 3rd rounder for 2023., which would fit the narrative of far off on compensation.

I keep hearing about this shouldn’t have let Rodgers talk to jets talk. Why? They don’t have to trade him and Rodgers is a complicated human, letting a team drool over him is better than no team drooling over him.

I also think the packers told the jets it would need to be a 1st rounder. Jets just playing dumb worry about it later said yeah no problem we’ll go talk to him and in their head said will talk packers down later.

There is no way packers didn’t tell jets what they wanted prior to them flying to Rodgers house., they’re just trying to dictate the deal.
