I’d be just fine with Van Ness. What I like most is his experience hand in the dirt at DE and OLB. But he like most NFL rookies needs to get stronger. An added plus is he is also an academic all big ten two years in the row.
I can’t get really excited about Mayer, instead of trading 15 I would have taken Johnson or with the trade Broderick Jones.
I do get the Mayer pick he and LaPorta for me are the most NFL ready TE’s.
And there’s no doubt after Tonyan moving to Chicago multiple TE’s will be drafted.
