Consensus Big Board had Kraft as the 67th best prospect. He was drafted 78th.

So was he under drafted? Sure... a bit.

I think the thing with Kraft is he's a safe pick. I would argue his range of outcomes isn't terribly wide, with a high floor and a rather low ceiling. His blocking ability and athleticism give him usefulness in all aspects of the TE room.

Not to do the whole compare prospects to guys of the same color, but he has the mold of a Pat Freiermuth, Jason Witten, Todd Heap, Heath Miller type. He's not bad at anything, has good enough athleticism to make him functional in the passing game, and can line up anywhere.

Will he make a ton of probowls? Unlikely, but he's got the tools to have a 10 year career.
